Lee Hausner Recognized as Thought Leader

Lee Hausner, Ph.D., senior managing director at First Foundation Advisers was recognized as one of the foremost thought leaders in the wealth management field at the annual FOX Forum, sponsored by Family Office Exchange (FOX).

Dr. Hausner was cited by FOX as among the group of leading thinkers and pioneers who have responded in innovative ways to the needs of private wealth owners over the past two decades and have had a tremendous influence in shaping today's private wealth industry.

"I'm extremely honored to be acknowledged for my contribution to the wealth management field, which has been my passion for many years," said Dr. Hausner. "Through my affiliation with the FOX organization, I have been exposed to the best practices that these families employ as well as learning from my association with the outstanding international resources who service this community and who have become my trusted colleagues and collaborators."

Dr. Hausner, an internationally recognized clinical psychologist and business consultant, is also national director of First Foundation's Family Consulting Services Division. Prior to joining First Foundation Advisors, Dr. Hausner was senior psychologist for the Beverly Hills Unified School District for 19 years, during which time she co-authored "Homework Without Tears ... A Parent's Guide to Motivating Children to Do Homework and Succeed in School."

Her new book, "Legacy Families ... A Family for the Generations", co-authored with colleague Douglas K. Freeman (senior managing director at First Foundation Advisors), will be published by Macmillan-Palgrave this fall.

Dr. Hausner is a frequent guest and expert commentator on national television and radio and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Time, Forbes, Fortune, Town and Country, Privilege, and The Robb Report. She is a contributing writer for Worth Magazine and the author of the groundbreaking book, "Children of Paradise...Successful Parenting for Prosperous Families."

FOX provides research, education and advice to more than 500 wealth owners, family office executives and advisory firms. This year's FOX Forum, which was held on Oct. 21-22 in Chicago, commemorates the organization's 20th anniversary.
