A Note From the Chairman - First Foundation
The economy is off to a good start in the first quarter with many key indicators moving higher thanks to the help of government stimulus programs. Our concern for the rest of the year rests largely on what happens when the government winds down its numerous programs designed to spur spending.
Unemployment and consumer debt are other immediate concerns, while inflation and the massive U.S. debt explosion probably won't need to be dealt with for another year or two...
